If you participated in the Run With Israel fundraiser on May 18, 2015 you might have seen my photo published as part of their marketing strategy for the event. It was pretty exciting. Seeing my photos in use never gets old. Always a good time.
Taking it all the way back to May 2006 for this one. Temperature by Sean Paul was the number one hit on the radio and I got my first billboard ad. This was pretty cool. When I first launched my photography business I needed models and so I shot my friends whenever I got the chance. I submitted some shots here and there and a year later one of my images was selected to be used on this ad for the digital imaging show.
Wow look at me back in 2006 with my shiny new 70-200mm f2.8 L IS. I had to save up forever to buy that lens and now as i'm writing this it's 2015 and that same lens is still a workhorse in my camera bag. Nine years of regular use and it still works like new. A testament to investing in quality glass.
I was hired by Shoeless Joe's to shoot some promotional content for their print and web in store event marking. When they asked me if I knew any beautiful women that would model for the project I said not a problem. I hired Canadian Playboy cover model Rachelle Wilde for the shoot. She was absolutely amazing to work with such a fun personality. Shoeless Joe's loved the photos and if the client is happy I'm happy.
Yogabooty hired me to shoot some promotional content for their ad campaign strategy. Had so much fun working with these two. It was awesome and the pictures came out amazing.
(I did not design the ad)
Advertisement for a special needs organization that matches up teens with special needs kids for home visits to develop friendships. It’s a popular program for teens who love the events and get recognition for their devoted work. This was the kick off party event featuring live pizza making with Stefano’s pizza baker. I shot the pizza for the advertisement and also got to eat it after. mmmmm food photography.
Energizer licensed one of my images for an fundraising campaign they were running in Europe.
Labatt Blue licensed this image of a sexy referee for a promotional campaign they did through Facebook.
Had an image featured on msn.ca
This was super exciting. itravel2000 had licensed a bunch of my images for a national ad campaign. My pictures were all over the internet, magazines and, the really cool part, all over billboards. It was the first time I had one of my images published on a billboard and plastered all across Toronto. I was everywhere. lol. It was pretty neat.
GoodLife Fitness featured one of my images on their webpage. It was pretty exciting to see one of my images in action on their webpage.
Speedo Licensed one of my images of a couple on a beach for their Hydrospex product packaging. Pretty cool indeed. I got me some Hydrospex now so i'm ready for the next beach shoot.
Lumberyard Brewing Company licensed this picture of a sexy referee for an event poster. Pre-Game Super Bowl Bash!!!!!!! Party Time!
Legends Bar & Grille licensed this image of a sexy referee with a beer for a promotional campaign.
If you frequented Hotmail.com back in 2007 as i'm sure you did because it was the cool place to have your email back in the day than you probably saw this ad quite a bit. My photo of this beautiful Caribbean model was plastered everywhere as lavalife was trying to take the online dating world by storm. I've talked to a few people now who remember seeing this ad back in the day. This was a totally fun shoot. We spent more time laughing than shooting. It was just a good vibe on set the whole day.
Banco Del Austro licensed one of my images for an internet ad campaign.
This was pretty cool BT featured my photo on a web ad campaign for their broadband service.
There's an interesting story behind this. As part of my marking initiative to get my branding for my new photography business out there I frequently posted in online forums and made friends all around the world. It just so happens that one of the contacts I made in Australia recognized my photo on the cover of Lorna Jane magazine. She snatched up a few copies and mailed them over to me which was super awesome of her. Apparently Lorna Jane used this image in a store wide champaign so that was pretty sweet. Lorna Jane is Australia's version of lululemon.
The girl on the cover was ecstatic when I told her about it. She was someone I had randomly met on a beach while traveling in Cuba. I asked her to model for me because I wanted to gain some experience. BAM! My first magazine cover. Crazy how things work out.
